I really hope that someone invents a chip that can be inserted into your brain because I cannot keep track of all these school things.
Aside from the fact that I’m juggling 4 science classes with separate lectures and labs (meaning 8 different professors and schedules), and 1 online nutrition class, I’m doing it between two different schools. So that’s 2 new campuses, 2 new email addresses on top of my gmail account, and 2 separate registration/account systems. Also, one uses Blackboard and one uses a different interface which I have yet to actually log on to.
There are also 3 credit cards I use and monitor daily, and I use two checking accounts at two different banks, a savings account, and two different money market accounts at two different institutions (which I have to combine but keep forgetting to call). And then there’s my amazon seller account, my ebay seller account, my etsy seller account, and obviously my paypal account. One time Wells Fargo somehow took $20 out of my checking account to pay for someone else’s copay to my doctor despite the fact that the check had neither my name nor my banking account number on it. I shot out of work like a bat out of hell to fix the situation, but this only reinforced my need to monitor my monies like a psycho serial killer…. of monies- which really I pretty much am with my shopping addiction.
HOLY CRAP. Sometimes being OCD and having to check things all the time is not all that it’s cracked up to be.
Hopefully when I get my iphone I will be able to load all three email accounts onto my phone? yes? no?
And at some point the near future I’m going to add a job (probably waitressing) to this. I just need a week or two to adjust to full time school first because I need to de-thaw my brain.
I know I can do it though. In high school I went to class, then had two jobs where I worked 26 hours total, and then spent like half a million hours in several different dance classes and also riding on top of that. And/or the play. Granted I wanted to kill myself, but whatever. I know it’s possible.
I think my main point is that Blackboard and these interfaces for school are really stupid. Facebook should come up with some kind of program that is more user-friendly and universal. Don’t they know that sometimes people go to two schools at once? No? Oh, I’m the only idiot doing that? Oh. And/or college email accounts are really dumb. Especially because I can’t figure out how to forward those emails to my gmail account. I set it up, but it’s just not happening.
So basically while I spent 8 hours on campus I have no access to my school email accounts and am constantly like “oh my god what am I missing” because college round 1.0 I had professors who used to assign me things at 1am for the next day. I’m scarred for life.
